Fans of 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' are set to experience the film in a completely new way as the fully uncut international version finally arrives for Indian audiences. Nearly two months after the Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller dominated the box office, Netflix India has announced that it will stream the uncensored edition alongside the previously released 'Raw & Undekha' version.
Netflix Announces Release Date
Netflix India teased the release on Thursday through a new promotional video shared across its social media platforms, confirming that the international cut will be available for streaming from June 19. Unlike the version shown in Indian theatres, this edition restores the original overseas cut, featuring unmuted dialogues, uncensored language, and the complete audio track. The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Background of the Release
The release comes shortly after the film's Indian OTT debut on JioHotstar on June 4. While fans were eager to watch the action thriller at home, the platform faced backlash for opting for a live-stream format instead of offering the film on demand. The Netflix version also brings back several scenes that were either shortened or removed from the theatrical release. Viewers can expect extended action sequences, stronger language, and more graphic depictions of violence.
Restored Scenes and Content
One of the most talked-about additions is the severed head sequence involving Uzair Baloch and Arshad Pappu, a scene that was heavily promoted in trailers but ultimately omitted from the theatrical cut. Several action set pieces have also been restored, including moments featuring hammer attacks, beheadings, and the film's brutal cement-block climax. The Lyari Gang War chapter has been expanded with additional footage, including a scene where Hamza attacks a man using a burning fireball. The international cut retains all abusive language and expletives without censorship.

The blockbuster has become the only Hindi film and the third Indian film ever to cross the ₹1,000 crore net mark in India. It currently ranks as the second-highest-grossing Indian film worldwide, behind only 'Dangal'. With the latest success of the sequel, the overall 'Dhurandhar' franchise has now crossed ₹3,200 crore in cumulative worldwide earnings.
