Dhruva Natchathiram: Gautham Menon Seeks 30 More Days from Madras HC for Release
Dhruva Natchathiram: Gautham Menon Seeks 30 More Days

The highly anticipated film 'Dhruva Natchathiram', a spy thriller directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and starring Chiyaan Vikram, continues to face delays despite being announced years ago. The latest development involves a legal plea by the director seeking additional time from the Madras High Court to release the movie.

Director Seeks 30 More Days from Madras High Court

Unable to release the film before June 15, 2026, despite his efforts, Gautham Menon has approached the Madras High Court, requesting an additional 30 days to complete the process. According to Cinema Express, the filmmaker has sought time until July 15, 2026, to release the much-delayed movie. The matter is expected to be heard by Justice K. Kumaresh Babu. On the same day, a Division Bench comprising Justices P. Velmurugan and K. Govindarajan Thilakavadi is also expected to deliver orders on related appeals connected to the film's release.

Financial Disputes Continue to Delay the Film

The delay in releasing 'Dhruva Natchathiram' is largely attributed to long-standing financial and legal issues. This conflict reportedly originated from deals made on the movie 'Ennai Noki Paayum Thota' as well as issues arising from certain investors. Numerous legal battles, resolutions, and claims made over the years have contributed to delaying the release of this Vikram-starrer film. The investors had obtained an interim order for this film in 2023.
