The shooting for the much-anticipated Malayalam film 'Bethlehem Kudumba Unit' has officially commenced, bringing together a fresh on-screen pair. The project, which went on floors on Friday, stars the popular actors Nivin Pauly and the rising star Mamitha Baiju in lead roles.
Auspicious Start with a Traditional Pooja
The film's production house, Bhavana Studios, kicked off the new venture with a traditional pooja ceremony to mark an auspicious beginning. The team shared photos from the event on social media, announcing the start of this new romantic comedy directed by Girish AD.
The caption read, "Bhavana Studios kicks off the New Year with the production of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, a Rom Com by Girish AD, starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju." The banner, which previously backed Girish AD's blockbuster hit 'Premalu', expressed wishes for a year filled with love, laughter, and happiness.
For Mamitha Baiju, this film signifies a significant return to Malayalam cinema after she gained pan-Indian attention with her recent projects. It also marks her third collaboration with director Girish AD, following their successful outings in 'Super Sharanya' and 'Premalu'.
