Tollywood star Naga Chaitanya is all set to star in the upcoming mystical action adventure film 'Vrushakarma', directed by Karthik Dandu. The film is currently in production, and according to the latest reports, the team has already locked its satellite rights post-theatrical release.
'Vrushakarma' Satellite Rights
As per a report by 123Telugu, the satellite rights of 'Vrushakarma' have been acquired by ZEE Telugu for a substantial sum. It is important to note that no official announcement has been made regarding this development. Additionally, no details about the film's OTT release have surfaced so far.
Release Date and Post-Production
The same publication also reported that the team is planning for a December 2026 release. Since the movie involves heavy visual effects and fantasy elements, the team seems to be investing more time in post-production. However, there is still no official confirmation from the team regarding the release date.
Earlier, during an interview with Variety India, Naga Chaitanya shared that the film is almost complete and they are considering releasing it during August or October. He said, "The film is 90 per cent complete, but there is still 10 per cent left. That is why we don't have an exact release date yet, but are eyeing the August to October window." Time will reveal the actual release date.
Recent Shoot in Rajasthan
Last month, the makers took to their social media handles to share that the latest schedule of the movie was completed in the beautiful palaces of Rajasthan. The team was captured shooting, and some behind-the-scenes moments showed the leads and other crew members chatting and discussing with each other.
Cast of 'Vrushakarma'
The film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and includes 'Laapataa Ladies' fame Sparsh Shrivastava as the main villain, along with Jayaram and Satya in key roles. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.
