Despite Zee5 removing Diljit Dosanjh's film 'Satluj' from its platform in India, a high-quality digital copy of the movie is reportedly being circulated on WhatsApp groups. The copy, approximately 589 MB in size with a runtime of 2 hours, 43 minutes, and 59 seconds, has been shared among users, according to online reports.
Government Cites Potential Misuse by Anti-India Forces
Government sources stated on Monday that certain portions of the film had the potential to be misused by anti-India forces. However, no official statement has been issued regarding the alleged circulation of the movie on WhatsApp.
Legal and Cyber Safety Warnings Issued
Experts have warned that sharing or downloading banned or pirated content may violate laws and could invite legal action. Cyber safety officials advised people not to engage with such content and to report suspicious sharing activity on messaging platforms.
Zee5's Statement on the Takedown
