Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay was seen in an emotional state as he attended the funeral of renowned film producer RB Choudary. The funeral took place on Wednesday in Chennai, drawing numerous celebrities from the Tamil film industry to pay their last respects.
During the ceremony, Vijay was visibly moved when he approached Choudary's son, actor Jiiva, who was overcome with grief. Vijay placed his hand on Jiiva's shoulder and consoled him, offering words of comfort. RB Choudary, a veteran producer known for his work in Tamil cinema, passed away at the age of 78 after a prolonged illness. He was the founder of the production house Super Good Films, which produced numerous hit films including 'Muthu', 'Padaiyappa', and 'Friends'. He was also a mentor to many actors and directors in the industry.
Vijay, who recently launched his political party TVK, has been actively engaging with the public and showing his human side. His gesture at the funeral has been widely appreciated, highlighting his emotional connection with the film fraternity.
Many actors and politicians attended the funeral to pay their respects, including Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, and Chief Minister MK Stalin. The industry mourned the loss of a legendary figure who contributed significantly to Tamil cinema.
