Indian television actor Mohammed Iqbal Khan is currently filming for a new project in his picturesque hometown, Jammu and Kashmir. The actor, last seen in the show Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, expressed immense delight at working in the region he fondly calls "heaven on earth."

For Khan, returning to Kashmir for work is always a special occasion. "Shooting in my hometown is always amazing," he shared. He described the place of his childhood as heavenly, a sentiment echoed in Kashmir's popular moniker, 'Jannat-e-Kashmir'. Interestingly, the actor noted that each filming stint reveals new corners of the region to him. "I have shot in Kashmir a couple of times before this also and I have realised that every time I come for a shoot I get to see places that I have never been," he revealed.

However, this shoot comes with a tinge of personal disappointment. Khan mentioned that he usually extends his stay after pack-up to soak in the local atmosphere, but prior commitments will prevent that this time. Adding to this is a recurring pattern in his shooting schedule that keeps him from his parents. "For some strange reason I always shoot in Kashmir during winters and my parents in winters go to Jammu due to severe cold. So I don’t get to see them," he added, expressing a sense of longing.
The actor is known for frequently expressing his deep affection for his home state.
