Vertical OTT platform Rocket Reels has strengthened its content lineup by adding eight new original micro-dramas to its slate. This expansion follows the recent launch of 10 original series in a single day, underscoring the platform's commitment to India's rapidly growing short-format entertainment sector.

New Micro-Dramas and Creative Team

Founded by entrepreneur Kranti Shanbhag, Rocket Reels has unveiled a diverse range of micro-dramas directed by Sajan Agarwal. The new titles include Lady Bond 007, Honey Trap, Marriage Bureau, Khela Hobe, Tamatar Ki Chutney, Pathan The Killer, Ek Tha Kobra, and Gents Tailor Ladies Not Allowed.

Cast and Collaborations

The upcoming projects feature a talented ensemble cast including Seema Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Namit Das, Vikram Kochhar, Brijendra Kala, and Dayanand Shetty. Over the past year, Rocket Reels has also collaborated with prominent actors such as Rahul Dev, Rajpal Yadav, Sharib Hashmi, Sunny Leone, Hiten Tejwani, Barkha Bisht, and Gauahar Khan.

Founder's Vision

Speaking about the platform's focus on original content, Shanbhag remarked at a recent event, “The audience response has reinforced our belief that compelling storytelling can thrive in shorter formats. We are continuing to invest in original concepts and strong performances to expand the micro-drama ecosystem.”

With over 70 original shows already available and several more in production, Rocket Reels continues to expand its footprint in the emerging micro-drama segment.
