The Family Man Season 3 Trailer Reveals Srikant Tiwari on the Run
The Family Man Season 3 Trailer Out, Releases Nov 21

The highly anticipated third season of the hit spy thriller, The Family Man, has finally unveiled its official trailer, sending fans into a frenzy. The grand launch event took place in Mumbai on 7 November, setting the stage for the return of India's favourite intelligence agent.

A Spy on the Run: The New Plot

The new season brings back the brilliant Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, but his world has been turned upside down. Srikant Tiwari has been declared a wanted criminal, with an official arrest warrant issued against him. Forced to go on the run with his family, he is supported by his loyal friend and colleague, JK, played by Sharib Hashmi. As he escapes, Srikant is desperately trying to understand the powerful forces that are framing him.

The plot introduces a formidable new adversary in Nimrat Kaur, who enters the story as the mastermind working against Srikant. She allies with a dangerous drug smuggler from the north-east, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat, making for a deadly combination.

Trailer Highlights and Fan Reactions

The trailer, which was shared across Amazon Prime Video’s social media channels, opens with a hilarious moment where Srikant finally confesses his true profession to his son. "I’m an agent," Srikant says, to which his son casually replies, "OK," under the mistaken impression that his father is a travel agent.

Upon realizing his father is a spy, the son excitedly asks if he has a codename like Tiger or Panther. In a classic retort that defines his character, Srikant replies, "I work in intelligence, not in a circus." This line cleverly circles back when Nimrat Kaur's character later declares, "I am the one that runs the circus."

Fans on social media have lavished praise on the trailer. One user noted the creators' skill, stating, "Without glorifying heroism... Raj and DK know very well how to make a spy film or series." Another fan celebrated the on-screen chemistry, pointing out, "There is never a dull moment with Shri and JK." The reunion of Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat, known for their roles in Gangs of Wasseypur, was also a major talking point.

A Long-Awaited Return

It has taken three years for the creators, the dynamic duo Raj and DK, to craft this new season. They stated their intention was to significantly raise the bar, ensuring the long wait would be worthwhile for the audience. The official The Family Man Season 3 release date is set for 21 November, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
