The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) under Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) is set to organize a 10-day vocational training course on dairy farming from July 13 to 24. The program will take place at the KVK campus located in Nag Kalan on Majitha Road. The initiative aims to equip farmers, unemployed youth, and rural residents of Amritsar district with practical knowledge and skills in dairy farming.

Limited Seats and Application Process

Officials from KVK have announced that the number of seats for the training is limited. Admissions will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested candidates are required to submit completed application forms in person during working hours on weekdays. Applications will be accepted until July 13, the start date of the course. KVK officials clarified that forms submitted through phone or WhatsApp will not be entertained; applicants must visit the center and submit physical copies.

Eligibility and Attendance Requirements

The training is exclusively meant for farmers, unemployed persons, and rural youth belonging to Amritsar district. Participants must maintain 100 percent attendance to receive a training certificate. The course is designed to provide hands-on experience and enhance livelihood opportunities in the dairy sector.
