Goa Teen's Natural Death Confirmed, Viscera Preserved

The postmortem examination report of 17-year-old Tia Parab, who was found dead in her room at her Nachinola residence in Bardez, has confirmed that she died of natural causes. However, her viscera has been preserved to aid the probe after police said they received a crucial input from Tia's neighbor.

Incident Details

The incident came to light on Tuesday when family members found the teenager unresponsive in her room and immediately alerted the medical services and police. The Mapusa police initially registered a case of unnatural death and initiated a preliminary inquiry, during which a neighbor shared key information with the police.

Autopsy Findings

To ascertain the exact cause of death, officials shifted the body to GMC for an autopsy. While the medical report received on Wednesday ruled out foul play by confirming a natural death, doctors have preserved the viscera for further forensic analysis.
