The keynote speaker was senior orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Nadeem Farooqi, who holds qualifications including MBBS, MS Ortho, and MCh Ortho from the UK. Dr. Farooqi provided detailed information on arthritis, commonly known as gathiya, emphasizing its impact on daily life and work. He outlined effective preventive measures such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, maintaining proper weight, and periodic health check-ups.
Dr. Farooqi also discussed modern medical methods and treatment options available for arthritis.
