A tragic incident unfolded in Karur district on Friday when a 40-year-old private bus driver died after suffering a heart attack near Kulithalai. The driver, identified as Manoj, demonstrated remarkable presence of mind by steering the bus to the roadside and bringing it to a complete halt after feeling unwell, potentially averting a major accident.

Manoj was operating the bus on the Karur–Trichy route along Kumaramangalam Road when he began experiencing severe discomfort. Recognizing his deteriorating condition, he managed to safely pull the vehicle over to the side of the road before his situation worsened significantly.
