CRPF Celebrates 87th Raising Day with Comprehensive Health Camp in Patna
On the occasion of the 87th Raising Day of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), a special medical camp was organized at the 47th Battalion CRPF Headquarters, situated on the Gaya jail premises in Patna. This initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the dedicated personnel and their families, reflecting the force's commitment to their well-being.
Health Screenings for Approximately 150 Participants
The medical camp saw the participation of around 150 soldiers and their family members, who underwent thorough health check-ups. The screenings focused on critical health issues, including:
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- Blood pressure
- Dengue
- Other common ailments
Doctors at the camp not only conducted these screenings but also offered detailed information on preventive measures against these diseases. They emphasized the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle to mitigate health risks, providing personalized advice to attendees.
Inauguration by Senior Officials
The programme was jointly inaugurated by DIG (Medical) S K Rai and the Commandant of the 47th Battalion CRPF, Awadhesh Kumar. In his remarks, DIG Rai highlighted the significance of such initiatives, stating, "Organising such medical camps from time to time can provide better healthcare to soldiers and their families." He stressed that regular health interventions are crucial for maintaining the fitness and readiness of CRPF personnel.
Commandant Awadhesh Kumar reinforced this sentiment, noting that the CRPF is always vigilant about the health and well-being of its soldiers. He expressed pride in the force's efforts to ensure that its members and their families have access to quality medical care, especially on important occasions like the Raising Day.
