Government Committee Approves Facility After Inspection
A government-appointed committee conducted a thorough inspection of the Super Speciality Hospital on January 9, providing a favourable report that has been submitted for approval. The inspection team comprised esteemed medical professionals, including Dr Abhinav Arun Sonkar from the surgery department of KGMU, Dr Ishwar Ram Dhayal from the urology department of Dr RMML IMS, and Dr Narayan Prasad from the nephrology department of SGPGI. Their positive assessment underscores the college's readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.
Preparations Complete, License Awaited
According to college administration officials, all preparatory measures are in place, with the license being the sole remaining requirement. Dr Sanjay Kala, the principal of the medical college, confirmed, "We are just waiting for the licence; all other preparations are complete." Sources indicate that the license is anticipated to be received in April, paving the way for the immediate commencement of transplant operations.
