Haryana Government Expands Healthcare Network to Punjab for Employees and Pensioners
In a significant move to enhance medical facilities for its workforce, the Haryana government, under the leadership of Health Minister Arti Singh Rao, has officially enabled access to treatment at four premier hospitals in Punjab. This initiative, announced on Tuesday, aims to provide state employees, pensioners, and their dependents with advanced healthcare options for serious ailments.
Key Hospitals Empanelled for Specialized Care
The newly empanelled institutions include the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Mullanpur, which operates as a unit of the Tata Memorial Centre in Mumbai; the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Sangrur; the Regional Spinal Injuries Centre located in Sector 70, Mohali; and the Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Phase 3B1, Sector 60, Mohali. These facilities are renowned for their expertise in treating complex conditions such as cancer, spinal injuries, and liver-related diseases, offering cutting-edge medical interventions.

Health Minister Arti Singh Rao emphasized that this decision was driven by the objective of ensuring better and specialized medical facilities for the state's employees and pensioners.
