UP CM Yogi Adityanath Inaugurates 300-Bed KDSG Super-Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida
In a significant boost to healthcare infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday inaugurated the KDSG Super-Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida's Sector 10. This state-of-the-art 300-bed tertiary-care facility was founded by former cricketer Kapil Dev and businessman Sunil Kumar Gupta, marking a major private investment in the region's medical sector.
Transforming Healthcare Access in Uttar Pradesh
During the inauguration ceremony, Adityanath highlighted the state's remarkable progress in expanding health infrastructure. "Uttar Pradesh has undergone a significant transformation. There was a time when every district was known for mafia. But today, we are moving towards one district, one medical college," he stated, linking this push to improved patient access across the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized that healthcare accessibility is rapidly improving through public welfare schemes. "Initiatives like the Ayushman health card, which now covers about 5.6 crore people, are ensuring that medical support reaches the poor without discrimination," Adityanath added, underscoring the government's commitment to inclusive healthcare.

Adityanath also pointed out the substantial employment benefits of the new hospital. "The hospital has 300 beds for patients, but it will also generate around 1,000 jobs locally," he announced.
