The deceased, identified as Ashwi, aged 19, resided with her family in a flat on the third floor of the Regal Treasure Complex on Ayodhya Bypass in the Ayodhya Nagar locality. According to the police, she had been suffering from depression and anxiety for the past two to three years. She was actively undergoing treatment in the psychiatric department of a hospital.
In a heart-wrenching detail, police reported that Ashwi's mother, who diligently cared for her due to her condition, was following her daughter during the fateful moment. However, she was left a few stairs behind when Ashwi took the extreme step from the building's fifth floor.
