The food safety department has formally recommended to the central licensing authority the suspension of operating licences for four specific packaged drinking water units found to be in significant violation of standards.
Simultaneously, in a parallel enforcement action, the department has already suspended the food licences of four state-licensed units. Further disciplinary proceedings are currently being initiated against these establishments to ensure comprehensive accountability.

The centrally licensed units that have been recommended for licence suspension are:

- M/s Prayag Pack operating from Ispat Nagar
