Kolkata Warm and Humid, Scanty Rain Expected in Next Week

Kolkata: The city remained warm and humid a day after the monsoon onset, even as the Met office predicted scanty rain in and around Kolkata during the next one week. The maximum temperature reached 35.3°C on Saturday, while the minimum was around 28.6°C.

Monsoon Advancement

Conditions remain favourable for the further advancement of the southwest monsoon into the remaining parts of Bengal and some more parts of Odisha over the next two to three days, according to a bulletin issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre.

North Bengal Forecast

North Bengal will continue to receive light to moderate rain and thundershowers over the next three to four days.
