Prayagraj: Dr AK Verma, the principal of Motilal Nehru Medical College and Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, conducted a surprise inspection to evaluate the quality of food served to patients. During the visit, he personally tasted the meals prepared for patients to verify their quality, hygiene, and nutritional value. Dr Verma also examined the food distribution system, kitchen cleanliness, and the overall quality of meals provided.
Directives Issued for Quality Assurance
Following the inspection, Dr Verma issued a set of directives to hospital officials, emphasizing that patients must receive fresh, nutritious, and high-quality food in strict compliance with prescribed standards. He warned that no negligence would be tolerated in this regard. He stated that alongside medical treatment, a balanced and high-quality diet is crucial for the speedy recovery of patients. Therefore, the food management system will be monitored regularly, and there will be absolutely no compromise on quality.
