Shimla: Sainik School Sujanpur Tira conducted a cross-country run on Friday as part of the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’, an initiative under the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the Himachal Pradesh Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. The event commenced at 6 am with the flag-off by officiating principal Commander Akshay Sahu and Tehsil Welfare Officer Simro Sharma.
Anti-Drug Awareness Campaign
As part of the awareness drive, Class VI cadets organized an anti-drug rally around Chaugan Ground. They carried placards and raised slogans against substance abuse to educate young people about the harmful effects of drugs and encourage positive values. Addressing the gathering, Commander Sahu urged the youth to stay away from drugs and adopt healthy, constructive lifestyles.
