Students of Narsingh Das Public School in Taraori visited a local hospital to acknowledge the vital contributions of medical professionals and promote health awareness among themselves. Senior Medical Officer Dr Nipun Kalra addressed the students, explaining that Doctors' Day is celebrated in India on July 1 in honour of the renowned physician and former Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy. This annual observance recognises the tireless efforts of doctors in safeguarding public health.
