In a significant event marking spiritual devotion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday flagged off a group of Lord Ram devotees embarking on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya. The send-off ceremony was held at the Chief Minister's Jan Seva Sadan, where she described the journey as a profound reflection of Sanatan faith, cultural unity, and heightened spiritual consciousness.
A Spiritual Journey for the New Year
Approximately 35 to 40 devotees are part of this sacred expedition from Delhi to Ayodhya. Their primary aim is to offer prayers and seek the divine darshan of Lord Ram at the newly constructed Ram temple. The group was organized by the Valmiki Chaudhary sarpanch committee, as confirmed by an official statement.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta emphasized the deep spiritual significance of the pilgrimage. She stated that such journeys reinforce India's age-old Sanatan values and rich cultural traditions. Gupta highlighted that having the opportunity to seek darshan of Lord Ram at the onset of the New Year was a matter of immense fortune for the devotees.
