In a significant move to intertwine finance with the arts, Federal Bank has officially launched its new cultural property, Bharat Surotsav, with a poster unveiling event held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The poster for Bharat Surotsav was revealed in the presence of key leadership figures from Federal Bank's Chennai operations. Attendees included Ramesh S, Vice President & Regional Head, Chennai City, and Rojarajan, Deputy Vice President & Regional Head, Emerging Chennai. They were joined by other senior executives such as Ajithkumar M R, DVP - Zonal office, Meenakshi Sundaram, DVP - Head CRCH, Chennai, and Nisha Krishnan, VP - Head RCH, Chennai.

What is Bharat Surotsav?

Conceptualized exclusively for Federal Bank, Bharat Surotsav is an immersive dance and music fusion festival designed to celebrate India's rich and diverse artistic heritage. The festival aims to bridge generations by bringing together iconic performers and contemporary sounds, creating a unique cultural experience.

MVS Murthy, Chief Marketing Officer of Federal Bank, emphasized the vision behind the initiative, stating that it is the bank's way of blending finance with the finer rhythms of life. He highlighted the power of India's artistic traditions to unite people, inspire pride, and spark creativity, thereby forging a deep emotional connection with the Federal Bank brand.

Inaugural Edition and Ticket Details

The inaugural edition of this signature cultural IP is scheduled to be staged on November 22 at the prestigious Madras Music Academy in Chennai. The event will feature a spectacular lineup of artists, including:

  • Padma Shri Shobana, the renowned dancer and actress.
  • Agam Band, the pioneers of Carnatic-rock.
  • Charumathi Raghuraman, a celebrated vocalist.
  • Ravi Chari, a maestro of the sitar and Carnatic violin.
