The renowned Ganga Mela in Kanpur is set to take place on March 10, serving as the grand finale to the city's Holi festivities. The Rango Ka Thela procession will commence at 9:45 AM from Rajjan Babu Park. Addressing the media, Mool Chandra Seth, patron of the Kanpur Hatia Holi Mela Mahotsava Committee, announced that Holika Dahan will occur on the intervening night of March 2 and 3. However, due to a lunar eclipse on March 3, the playing of colors has been postponed. Instead, Holi will be celebrated on March 4, ensuring adherence to traditional astrological considerations.
