Centre Greenlights Major Civil Enclave Project at Srinagar Airport
In a significant move to enhance aviation infrastructure in the region, the Central government has approved the development of a civil enclave at Srinagar airport with an investment of Rs 1,677 crore. This project, announced by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, aims to modernize facilities and improve connectivity for Jammu and Kashmir.

The civil enclave will be constructed across a vast area of 73.18 acres, featuring a state-of-the-art terminal building spanning 71,500 square meters. This expansion is designed to accommodate growing passenger traffic and support economic growth in the area.
