The high-level engagement, scheduled from February 19 to 23, 2024, aims to deepen military cooperation between the two air forces and explore new avenues for collaboration.
Strengthening Strategic Ties in the Middle East
The visit underscores India's growing strategic outreach in the Middle East and North Africa region. Air Chief Marshal Chaudhari's itinerary includes high-level meetings with senior leadership of the Egyptian Armed Forces. A key highlight will be his interaction with Air Marshal Mahmoud Fouad Abd El-Gawad, Commander of the Egyptian Air Force (EAF). These discussions are expected to cover a wide spectrum of shared security interests and operational challenges.
