Iran Slams Trump's 'Living Hell' Threat, Accuses US of Following Netanyahu
Iran Hits Back at Trump's 'Living Hell' Threat Over Hormuz Strait

Iran Delivers Sharp Rebuke to Trump's 'Tuesday Threat' Over Strait of Hormuz

Iran issued a forceful response on Sunday to US President Donald Trump's provocative 'Tuesday threat', condemning his 'reckless moves' as actions that are pushing Washington towards a 'living hell'. This sharp retort from Tehran comes amid accusations that Trump is escalating tensions and driving the West Asia region into dangerous instability as conflicts intensify.

Parliament Speaker Accuses Trump of Reckless Escalation

Tehran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, took to social media platform X to launch a scathing critique of Trump. He alleged that the US President's actions are being dictated by Israeli interests, specifically those of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and warned of dire consequences.

"Your reckless moves are dragging the United States into a living HELL for every single family, and our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu's commands," Ghalibaf wrote. "Make no mistake: You won't gain anything through war crimes. The only real solution is respecting the rights of the Iranian people and ending this dangerous game."

Trump's Ultimatum Over the Strait of Hormuz

Ghalibaf's statement was a direct reaction to Trump's aggressive warning, which demanded that Iran reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz—a key global oil shipping route—under threat of severe military action. In a post on Truth Social, Trump issued an expletive-laden ultimatum, setting a tense deadline.

"Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F****n' Strait, you crazy b*****, or you'll be living in Hell - JUST WATCH! Praise be to Allah," Trump declared.

Earlier, Trump had given a 48-hour ultimatum, stating: "Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT. Time is running out--48 hours before all hell will rain down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP."

Iran Rejects Threat with Military Rebuke

Iran has firmly rejected Trump's warning, with senior military officials joining the chorus of condemnation. General Ali Abdollahi Aliabadi from Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters described Trump's remarks as "a helpless, nervous, unbalanced and stupid action."

Echoing the confrontational tone, he added: "The simple meaning of this message is that the gates of hell will open for you," according to reports from AFP. This exchange occurs against a backdrop of heightened tensions, following reports that an American F-15 fighter jet was shot down by Iranian air defences earlier in the week, prompting a high-risk US rescue operation.

In a separate post, Trump claimed that US forces successfully rescued a wounded crew member from deep within Iranian territory, characterizing it as a rare and perilous mission. The latest verbal clash unfolds amid an escalating situation in West Asia, where the US, Israel, and Iran have been embroiled in a conflict that began on February 28, further complicating regional dynamics.
