In response to the rising number of passengers during the summer vacation season, Indian Railways has announced the operation of special trains between Ernakulam in Kerala and Muzaffarpur in Bihar. This initiative aims to meet the travel requirements of commuters seeking to visit family, explore destinations, or return home during the holiday period.
Schedule and Details of the Weekly Special Trains
The special train service will operate on a weekly basis, with specific departure and arrival times designed to facilitate convenient travel. Train No. 06085, the Ernakulam Junction to Muzaffarpur Junction weekly special, will depart from Ernakulam at 9:30 PM on Fridays—specifically April 10, 17, and 24. It is scheduled to arrive at Muzaffarpur at 7:30 AM on the following Mondays, ensuring a smooth overnight journey.
Conversely, Train No. 06086, the Muzaffarpur Junction to Ernakulam Junction weekly special, will leave Muzaffarpur at 9:15 PM on Mondays—April 13, 20, and 27. This train will reach Ernakulam at 10:45 AM on Thursdays, providing passengers with a comfortable return trip.
