Election Commission's Enforcement Measures

The Election Commission has conducted multiple review meetings with chief secretaries, chief electoral officers, DGPs of the two poll-going states and their bordering states, as well as heads of enforcement agencies. These meetings have focused on ensuring violence-free, intimidation-free, and inducement-free elections. To bolster these efforts, the EC has deployed over 5,011 flying squad teams and 5,363 static surveillance teams across the two states, demonstrating a robust commitment to fair electoral practices.

This comprehensive enforcement strategy aims to uphold the integrity of the democratic process, with ongoing monitoring and seizures expected to continue as polling dates approach.
