Call for a State Education Reforms Commission

Balagurusamy requested the Chief Minister to constitute a state education reforms commission comprising eminent academicians, educationists, industry leaders, and administrators. This commission would be tasked with recommending structural reforms within six months.

He stated, "The future strength and competitiveness of Tamil Nadu depend greatly on the quality, accessibility, and relevance of its education system. Tamil Nadu possesses extraordinary intellectual capital, talented students, dedicated teachers, and a proud educational legacy. With visionary leadership, strong governance, and time-bound reforms, the state can once again emerge as the educational capital of India and a global center for knowledge."
