Patna: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary are set to visit different panchayats on Tuesday, marking the launch of the 'Sahyog camps' aimed at swiftly addressing public grievances at people's doorsteps.
CM and Deputy CM's Itinerary
Speaking at a programme at Gandhi Maidan on Monday, the Chief Minister announced that he would visit a panchayat in Sonepur under Saran district, while Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Choudhary will oversee the Sahyog camps in three blocks of Patna district on Tuesday.
Camp Operations and Grievance Redressal
Starting Tuesday, nodal officers from various government departments will review received applications and provide prompt resolutions. If any hurdles arise in disposing of public grievances, the concerned officials must provide the applicant with a written notification specifying a subsequent date by which the issue will be resolved.
Samrat reiterated that officials who fail to pass even an interim order on a complaint within 30 days will automatically be suspended on the 31st day by the Chief Minister's Office. The CMO will monitor every complaint filed on the Sahyog portal and during camps organized in panchayats on the first and third Tuesdays of every month. He also emphasized that there would be no compromise with crime.
Strict Deadlines and Monitoring
CM Samrat had made it clear on May 11 that every file must be disposed of within 30 days. Failure to do so would result in the suspension of the official concerned on the 31st day. The CM had launched the 'Sahyog Portal' and the 'Sahyog Helpline' number, 1100.
The process for submitting applications regarding public grievances will commence 30 days prior to the scheduled camp date. Applications may also be submitted on the day of the camp itself. As per established targets, the departments concerned are required to resolve public grievances within 30 days. If any delay occurs for any reason, written notification to this effect must be provided to the complainant upon their arrival at the camp. Applications received from the public will be monitored in real-time at the CM Secretariat level through a dedicated monitoring system.
Cabinet Secretariat Directive
A letter issued by the cabinet secretariat department stated that the participation of the ministers-in-charge is expected on the first day of the 'Sahyog Shivir' (camps).
Patna District Preparations
Patna DM has constituted a 'Sahyog Cell' where 57 nodal officers are deputed. On the first day, camps will be organized across 40 panchayats under various blocks of Patna.
Issues to be Addressed
The Sahyog camps will address and resolve issues related to rations, pensions, housing, MGNREGA, land disputes, mutation, land demarcation, caste certificates, income certificates, domicile certificates, electricity, water supply, roads, education, and health services. Additionally, citizens will be able to submit any grievances, suggestions, or feedback regarding any government scheme during these camps.
