Patna: Governor Syed Ata Hasnain on Tuesday launched a statewide campaign, 'Karmyoga for Empowered Bharat', of Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya to inspire individuals to adopt the principles of selfless action, duty, integrity and service for building a progressive nation.
Governor's Vision for Karmayoga
Launching the campaign, Hasnain said Karmayoga is about following high spiritual principles while fulfilling responsibilities. He expressed satisfaction that millions associated with Brahma Kumaris are leading meaningful lives through regular practice of Karmayoga.
He said that through Karmayoga, every citizen can contribute to India's sustainable and holistic development. According to him, this approach would not only strengthen economic progress but also help build a society rooted in values that can serve as a model for the world.
Praise for the University
Praising the work of Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, the governor said the principles of the campaign should be widely propagated across the state to create positive energy among people dealing with physical stress and mental tension.
Lady governor Sabiha Hasnain, principal secretary to the governor, office-bearers of Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, vice-chancellors of universities and principals of city-based colleges attended the function held at Lok Bhavan.
