Patna: Education minister Mithilesh Tiwari on Wednesday inaugurated two inquiry-cum-grievance redressal centres at the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) offices on Sinha Library Road and Budh Marg, along with a digital grievance portal for online complaint tracking and SMS updates.
Centres and Services
The centres have five dedicated counters for matric, intermediate, STET, D El Ed, Simultala admissions, scholarships and administrative grievances. Applicants will receive unique reference numbers for monitoring complaints online.
Minister's Statement
“This initiative is expected to bring significant relief to students, parents, educational institutions and the public by ensuring swift solutions to their issues,” Tiwari said.
Development and Implementation
The system was developed under the guidance of BSEB chairman Anand Kishor.
This initiative aims to streamline the grievance redressal process and reduce delays in resolving complaints. The digital portal allows users to track their complaints in real-time and receive SMS updates, enhancing transparency and efficiency. The five counters at each centre are designed to handle a high volume of queries related to examinations, admissions, scholarships, and administrative matters.
Students and parents can now visit the centres during working hours or use the online portal to lodge complaints from anywhere. The introduction of unique reference numbers ensures that each complaint is tracked systematically, preventing loss or misplacement of applications.
