Among numerous proposals submitted by municipal corporations across Maharashtra, the joint CSMC-Smart City project titled 'Municipal Services via WhatsApp and Chatbot' secured an impressive second rank at the state level. This innovative digital initiative was awarded a substantial cash prize of 6 lakh rupees for its forward-thinking approach. The project leverages cutting-edge technology to provide a wide array of essential civic services directly to residents through accessible digital platforms, significantly improving citizen engagement and service delivery.
Playground Initiative Clinches First Place in Government Officials Category
In a separate but equally commendable achievement, the CSMC's 'Aamhala Khelu Dya' (translated as 'Let Us Play') initiative secured the top rank at the state level within the 'Government Officials' category. This program was honored with a cash prize of 50,000 rupees. The successful implementation of this community-focused project was carried out under the expert guidance of former municipal commissioner G Sreekanth.
The core objective of the 'Aamhala Khelu Dya' initiative is to reclaim and revitalize public play spaces across the city. It focuses on two critical areas:
