Official Explanation

Tehsildar Laxmi Barde stated that the census training schedule had been prepared on April 10, and entries were made on the official portal based on the data available at that time. She said that Santosh Malviya was alive when the initial list was prepared and his name was included for a training session scheduled on April 13. However, officials could not explain how his name continued to appear in the order issued on April 24, even after his death. The tehsildar confirmed that a revised order was issued on April 25, after removing his name from the list.
