The Chief Minister of Delhi has issued a strict directive to all government departments to ensure the implementation of welfare schemes within the prescribed timeframe. In a high-level meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat, the CM emphasized that any delay in executing these schemes would not be tolerated and warned of strict action against negligent officials.
Focus on Timely Delivery
The CM specifically reviewed the progress of key welfare programs, including the Mukhyamantri Ghar Ghar Ration Yojana, free electricity scheme, and the doorstep delivery of services. He stressed that the benefits of these schemes must reach the intended beneficiaries without any bureaucratic hurdles.
Review of Ongoing Projects
During the meeting, the CM also assessed the status of infrastructure projects under the Delhi government, such as the construction of new schools, hospitals, and mohalla clinics. He instructed the concerned authorities to expedite work and complete projects by the set deadlines.
The Chief Minister further directed the departments to adopt a proactive approach in identifying eligible beneficiaries and ensuring their enrollment in the schemes. He called for the use of technology to monitor progress and maintain transparency.
Senior officials from various departments, including the Revenue, Social Welfare, and Health departments, were present at the meeting. They assured the CM of their commitment to meeting the deadlines and improving service delivery.
