A delegation from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), led by Ashwin Kothambari, met with Member of Parliament E Tukaram on Tuesday to submit a formal memorandum urging the creation of the healthcare facility.
Delegation Submits Memorandum
The delegation emphasized the urgent need for an ESI Hospital in Hosapete, citing the lack of adequate medical facilities for workers and their families in the region. The memorandum highlighted that the industrial area in and around Hosapete has a significant number of employees covered under the ESI scheme, yet they have to travel long distances to access medical care.

MP E Tukaram assured the delegation that he would raise the issue in Parliament and follow up with the Ministry of Labour and Employment. He acknowledged the growing industrial activity in Hosapete and the corresponding need for better healthcare infrastructure.
