The Haryana Government has accelerated its revenue reforms with an ambitious digital transformation programme, including the imminent rollout of Paperless Registration 2.0 and a statewide campaign to clear pending land demarcation cases.

Capacity Building and Phased Implementation

The Revenue and Disaster Management Department has initiated extensive capacity-building programmes for revenue officials while preparing for the phased implementation of the upgraded registration system across all districts. Officials said the district-wise rollout would ensure uninterrupted public services and minimise inconvenience during the transition from the existing Paperless Registration 1.0 platform.

Benefits for Citizens

Dr Misra said the upgraded system would significantly reduce citizens’ dependence on physical visits to government offices, minimise manual intervention, improve transparency and accountability, and ensure faster service delivery. “The initiative is expected to strengthen governance efficiency while promoting ease of doing business and providing a seamless, citizen-centric registration experience,” she said.
