The Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) sealed four marriage gardens in the city on Thursday for failing to provide the mandatory parking space required under civic rules. The action was part of a special enforcement drive carried out in the Mansarovar zone against institutions violating municipal norms.
Enforcement Drive Details
A joint team from the revenue and vigilance wing conducted inspections at several wedding venues across the city. During the inspections, officials found that the venues did not have the mandatory 25% parking arrangement prescribed under the rules. The sealed venues included Swarn Garden on New Sanganer Road in Mansarovar, Balaji Palace on Sirsi Road in Bhankrota, KK Paradise in Mangyawas, and Utsav Marriage Garden in Narayan Vihar.
Action Against Dairy Booths
During the same drive, the JMC took action against five dairy booths for allegedly selling tobacco products. Challans were issued against the operators. This move underscores the corporation's commitment to enforcing municipal norms and cracking down on illegal activities.
The JMC has warned that similar drives will continue in other zones to ensure compliance with civic rules. Residents are encouraged to report violations to the municipal authorities.
