During the visit, market association members and pedestrians drew attention to a critical infrastructure failure: a massive automated underground multi-level parking facility, developed by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), lying completely unused. This parking structure has a capacity for over 800 vehicles and includes a mall built above it, yet remains non-operational due to what was described as a fundamentally faulty design.
An official present during the visit confirmed the situation, stating, "Market association members and pedestrians pointed out the near-total disuse of the automated underground parking, which represents a significant waste of public resources and exacerbates local parking shortages."

The LG's walkthrough of the market area, including Bungalow Road, allowed him to observe a spectrum of persistent urban issues plaguing the locality. Beyond the parking debacle, Sandhu noted severe traffic congestion, inadequate sanitation services, dangerously hanging electrical wires, and a general lack of essential public utilities.
