Server Failure Leads to Agency Closure and Public Outcry
With the central booking server experiencing a complete outage, the local gas agency office was forced to cease its operations, further exacerbating the tense situation. This closure left numerous households unable to secure their essential cooking fuel supplies through digital channels. As anxieties heightened, some individuals within the gathering began vocalizing their demands through slogans, calling for immediate access to booking facilities and reliable information regarding cylinder availability.

According to detailed statements from Jehangirabad Station House Officer (SHO) Rajan Ahirwar, a substantial number of consumers converged on the gas agency after encountering repeated failures while attempting to book their domestic LPG cylinders via the official online portal. The concurrent server downtime and subsequent agency shutdown created a vacuum of information, which rapidly fueled public panic and misunderstanding.
Acting promptly on received information, a dedicated police team from the Jehangirabad Police Station arrived at the location. Their initial actions involved contacting the agency operators and urging them to return to the office premises. The police personnel then engaged directly with the assembled residents, offering counseling and clear instructions to help diffuse the volatile atmosphere.
In a decisive move to alleviate the immediate crisis, authorities directed the agency operators to commence offline, manual booking procedures for LPG cylinders. This step was crucial in providing a tangible solution to consumers stranded by the digital system failure.
