MP Tourism Wins National Award for Conference Management

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation was honoured with the national award for “Excellence in Conference Management” at the 10th Decennial Exhibition Excellence Awards (EEA) 2026, held at the CIDCO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Mumbai on Sunday.

The accolade, among the highest in India’s events, exhibitions and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferencing and Exhibitions) sector, was received by MP Tourism managing director, Dilip Kumar Yadav and his team. Yadav said the recognition reflects the corporation’s commitment, professionalism and strong teamwork in elevating the state’s event-hosting capabilities.

“MP Tourism is steadily upgrading its infrastructure, hospitality and event-hosting capabilities to world-class levels,” he said, attributing the success to the state’s modern convention centres, improved connectivity and well-regarded hospitality. These factors, he added, have helped attract major corporate houses and organisations from across India and abroad.

According to MP tourism officials the award recognises the corporation’s management of more than 20 major conferences of national and state significance.

Officials highlighted a string of high-impact events organised by MP Tourism, including the MP Growth Summit 2025, MP Tech Growth Summit 2025, the Regional AI Impact Summit 2025, the Regional Industry and Employment Summit, and the Madhya Pradesh Mining Conclave. State tourism officials said the national honour underscores Madhya Pradesh’s growing stature as a business-tourism destination and is expected to spur economic activity, generate employment and draw more knowledge-driven events to the state. The recognition also aligns with Madhya Pradesh’s promotional identity as the “Heart of Incredible India,” they added.

EEA organisers praised MP Tourism for operational excellence, stakeholder coordination and innovative event solutions that met international standards. The award is expected to bolster the state’s bid to host larger national and international conferences in coming years.
