The National Testing Agency (NTA) has strongly dismissed claims of a leak of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination paper, warning of strict action against those spreading misinformation.
In a statement posted on X, the agency said that messages claiming a 'leak', advance access, or 'sale' of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination paper are completely false and aimed at misleading students and parents. The NTA urged candidates to ignore such rumours and rely only on official communications.
The clarification comes amid growing concerns over the integrity of the examination process. The NTA reiterated that it has robust security measures in place to prevent any malpractice. Any individual or group found involved in spreading such false claims will face legal action, the agency warned.
NEET-UG is a crucial entrance exam for medical aspirants across India. The 2026 re-examination was scheduled after certain irregularities were reported in the initial test. The NTA assured students that the re-exam will be conducted smoothly and fairly.
Candidates are advised to stay alert and not fall prey to unscrupulous elements trying to create panic. For authentic updates, students should check the official NTA website and its verified social media handles.
