Visakhapatnam: The Vizianagaram district police arrested a man and three others for allegedly attacking his elder brother over a property dispute. The arrested persons have been identified as P Ramu, S Kumar, N Siva, and B Balu.
The police said P Butchi Naidu, a native of Vallapuram under Gurla mandal in Vizianagaram district, was attacked by three unidentified persons in Vizianagaram town on May 20. The investigation has revealed that Naidu received a phone call and he came to Vizianagaram town to attend a work. When he was heading towards a location, three people attacked him.
The police said Naidu’s younger brother Ramu developed a grudge on Naidu over a property dispute in their village. As Naidu rejected Ramu’s proposal to resolve the dispute, Ramu hired three persons to attack Naidu, the police added. All four accused have been arrested for further investigation.

The incident took place in Vizianagaram town on May 20. The victim, P Butchi Naidu, was lured to the location under the pretext of work. The assailants attacked him, causing injuries. The police registered a case and launched an investigation.
Property Dispute Root Cause
The dispute between the brothers stems from a property disagreement in their native village. Despite attempts by Ramu to resolve the matter, Naidu refused to accept his proposal, leading to the attack. The police have taken the accused into custody and are conducting further inquiries.
