Odisha CM Felicitates OCS Topper Bubun Sahoo

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday felicitated Bubun Sahoo, who secured the first rank in the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Examination-2024. Sahoo hails from Tolankapada village under Anandpur sub-division of Keonjhar district. The chief minister congratulated him for this remarkable achievement.

CM's Advice to Young Officer

The chief minister advised the young officer to give priority to people's welfare, good governance, and ensuring delivery of government services to the last mile. He also urged him to work with dedication for the development of children, women, and socially and educationally backward sections of society. Majhi further said that along with becoming a good administrator, one should also strive to become a good human being.

Background of Bubun Sahoo

Sahoo had last year been selected for the Odisha Police Service and is currently undergoing training as a DSP at the Biju Patnaik State Police Academy, Bhubaneswar, since March this year. His father, Bhagaban Sahoo, is a farmer, while his mother Kunjalata is a homemaker. Majhi also congratulated both parents for their son's unique achievement.
