UP Transfers 91 Professors Online

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh higher education department on Friday completed the transfer process of 91 professors serving in government colleges through an online transfer process, marking a significant step towards digital governance.

Transparent and Merit-Based Process

The online process, according to Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, has successfully eliminated any possibility of human intervention. This ensures that eligible teachers receive a fair opportunity based on established rules and merit. The minister emphasized that the government is committed to safeguarding the interests of teachers while ensuring complete transparency in all administrative procedures.

Digital Portal and SMS Notifications

Applications received for transfers were scrutinized in accordance with prescribed standards, and eligible applications were approved through a dedicated digital portal. As soon as the software-based process was completed, the concerned teachers were notified of their transfers via SMS. This ensured that the entire procedure was executed in a transparent and time-bound manner, with no room for delays or favoritism.
