Lucknow witnessed a significant tribute to broadcasting history as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the 89th foundation day celebration of All India Radio (Akashvani) at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Thursday. "The first sound we heard was of Akashvani. Its morning broadcasts and news bulletins were an integral part of everyday life," he recalled, painting a vivid picture of a bygone time.

The Chief Minister highlighted the exceptional standards maintained by AIR, particularly in terms of language purity, factual accuracy, and overall credibility.
