The DM also asked NEDA to write to the government recommending action against the top 10 vendors with the highest number of pending cases.

Scheme Statistics

Under the scheme, a total of 33,995 applications have been received, of which 33,978 have been approved. Vendors have been finalised for 32,823 cases, while installation work has been completed in 19,955 households so far.

The district magistrate also directed electricity department officials to launch a special drive to clear all pending matters related to the scheme and facilitate the maximum number of solar connections.
